   K·S brand · web font faces · v2.0
   ------------------------------------------------------------
   The Latin faces of the canonical period, self-hosted from
   assets/fonts. Load BEFORE tokens.css — tokens.css names these
   families and declares no loading mechanism of its own.

     <link rel="stylesheet" href="./fonts.css">
     <link rel="stylesheet" href="./tokens.css">

   Why this is a separate file, and not an @import inside
   tokens.css (which is where it lived until now):

   1. An @import inside a stylesheet is discovered only after that
      stylesheet has been fetched and parsed. Pointed at a CDN it
      cost four sequential round-trips before the first glyph:
      HTML → tokens.css → Google's CSS → woff2. As <link> siblings
      the two stylesheets are fetched in parallel and the fonts
      start one hop earlier.
   2. The `w/` build inlines the same woff2 as base64, because a
      client document must open from a file, offline, with zero
      outbound requests. While loading lived in tokens.css, the
      builder had to cut the @import back out of it. Loading and
      tokens are separate concerns; separate files let each surface
      pick its own mechanism without editing the other's.
   3. No third-party request from the identity page. The visitor's
      IP is not handed to a font CDN to read a personal landing.

   Subsets are the Latin range only: these faces serve the EN
   surfaces. The Cyrillic surface substitutes families in the
   tokens' RU block and self-hosts through the `w/` build.
